July 76 Orpheum is some great music and I'd buy it, but I wonder how well it would sell. 76 seems to be consistently underrated since it was followed by the slightly better 77.

I had been thinking about this the other day and I wondered about the Spring 77 tour, but I'm afraid there are too many shows, some of the earlier ones are merely very good, and too many of the best ones have already been released.

I admit I haven't listened to the whole thing, but what about the September 17-20 1970 Fillmore East run? 9-19 is great, of course, and you and others were singing the praises of the 9-20 acoustic set. Is the rest worth releasing? Has it been neglected because some is available only in AUD? I see there's a discussion at deadlists about how much SBD may be in the vault. Or I was stumping some time back for the June 1970 Fillmore East run.

Tell's NYE collection is a fun idea, though I personally would be most interested in 1968-1972. But is 12-31-69 even the best night of that run?

Other than that, I've got no good ideas. Would the Aloha 70 set you're imagining be all five nights, including the three that I don't think circulate now?

I read somewhere that 9/19/70 is not in the vault. But the sound quality on the circulating soundboard is so damn good it hardly matters.
